About Dr Stuart Sadler (Lead Clinical Psychologist / Sleep Therapist)
Dr Stuart Sadler (Lead Clinical Psychologist & Sleep Specialist) is the Director and Lead Clinical Psychologist for York Therapy Clinic. He specialises in working with depression, anxiety and sleep disorders including insomnia, early morning waking, nightmares, and difficulties staying asleep.
As well as being fully trained in a range of proven talking therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Stuart is one of the few UK based therapists to be trained in a specialist form of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and has worked with people all over the world to help them sleep better.
Stuart’s approach to therapy is about using tools that have been proven to work in both clinical practice and through evidence-based research. As an always growing psychologist, Stuart has also attended advanced training and workshops led by people such as Tony Robbins, Russ Harris, and a number of therapists and high profile speakers that have a track record of results.
As a qualified psychologist, Stuart is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, the British Psychological Society and the British Sleep Society. He has also appeared as a guest on a number of podcasts and has been featured in magazines such as Mens Fitness UK. He has appeared on BBC Radio and a range of other media to provide help and advice on a range of mental health subjects.
