If you would like to discuss your options for counselling in York, or are not sure which type of therapy may be best for you, our team of therapists are happy to answer any questions. Prior to arranging an appointment, we offer a short 10-minute telephone consultation where we will ask for a brief outline of your situation, your current difficulties and your therapy goals, to make sure that we can offer the right service to support you.
Our team of adult and child counsellors, psychologists and therapists can help with problems such as depression, anxiety, sleep problems, trauma, relationship difficulties, bereavement, and a range of other issues. We are also able to offer face-to-face or online appointments (Skype, Zoom, Facetime, WhatsApp Video), depending on your preference.

Private Health Insurance
We work with a variety of insurance companies and operate a “self-fund and reclaim” policy, meaning that clients with insurance pay for their sessions as usual but may then be able to independently reclaim their fees from their insurance company.
Please note that as private health insurance is an arrangement between client and insurance company, we do not invoice or bill insurance companies directly.
If you have private health insurance, such as that with any company listed below, contact your insurance company prior to booking to see if you can reclaim your session fees. Please note that we are unable to refund or advocate on behalf of clients in the event of insurance non-reimbursement.
